Answers:
No, 7 days is inadequate treatment by any standard.
I have included a connection below which included the Center for Disease Control acceptable standard treatments for h pylori. There are eight acceptable regimens. The minimum time for treatment is ten days.
In addition, you mention the amoxicillin and clarithromycin, but the omeprazole or other proton pump inhibitor (such as lansoprazole) is an essential sector of treatment as it drops the gastric ph sufficiently enough for the antibiotic to do its job. Pepto bismol also creates an environment in which h pylori finds it difficult to survive.
Most crucial is to complete the therapy EXACTLY as it is ordered, as continuing infection leaves you open to ulcerations and pain within future, and in the long term, gastric cancer.
Follow up care is essential. If a family practitioner seems smaller quantity than comfortable with this treatment, then a referral to a gastroenterologist would be the best course of action surrounded by terms of being sure that it is eradicated. This is not a time to be creative, wait and see, or try an alternate treatment. We can boss off gastric cancer with one of the eight approved treatment regimens. Good luck.
